How can we help keep our children be safe?
I have an IDEA!
The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children™ recommends that every child have a readily available resource with a current color photo, along with personalized information that can be immediately used in the event that it is needed.
IDs cards can be used to provide added safety measurement for any child
Who could benefit from from having this valuable information?
All of these groups working together to keep children safe, by having all the information readily available in the event a child goes missing.
- Parent/Child
- Law Enforcement

LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome opportunity. You do a really good job of explaining your idea and you do a great job of catching the readers eye. Would this be a not for profit organization? If so, where would the funding for something like this come from. I don’t know how you feel about this idea, but what if the child was to carry a radio transmitted card on them and the parents were the only one to have the frequency number? It may could be something to consider with your idea. You are right it takes a village to raise a child. I enjoyed your post, if you would like to check out my napkin idea, my link is attached below.

Hi Alvin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input. I actually had this down on a 'napkin' but it wouldn't copy and paste.
The last portion of this explains I would be partnering with communities and organizations to fund this for those areas where parents cannot afford it. This is an area where I could do some research on grant writing and find a grant for it.
Thanks again for the input.
Hey Linda,
ReplyDeleteLet me start off by saying that your idea is borderline heroic. I really think that what your doing is commendable in many ways. I also think the way you explained your idea and presented it was very effective. I do not know enough about the topic to provide any deeper insight, but I think that if any child in my community went missing, I would be right there with others in the community trying to fund this idea. My idea has to do with providing healthier, cheaper, and quicker meal options for college students, so our ideas definitely entail different things. Even so, I would say that it seems like your idea is pretty thought out as it stands whereas mine needs a lot more work and brainstorming.

You did a really good job on this blog post. I love how you incorporated images into a lot of it to keep it interesting and the flow of what is happening going. I also think your idea is amazing. I wouldn't have thought of it myself. You did a really good job at explaining it. I think it would be very beneficial to parents to have these things because of how many crazy things happen in the world today and how much parents need to worry to keep their children safe.
